Facilities:
Missouri State
University’s 16,600 seat Plaster Sports Complex features an 8-lane (42” lanes)
Gran-U-Tan synthetic all-weather surface, two
runways for horizontal jumps as well as pole vault
and high jump areas. The stadium’s infield also
features a Field Turf synthetic all-weather turf
that can be utilized for warm-ups. New throwing
facilities for discus and shot put opened in the

Eligibility:
This meet is open to all MSHSAA schools. Out of state teams are welcome
and should contact the meet director for entry and
eligibility information in advance.
Divisions:
All athletes will compete together in their events regardless of their
division. Awards and team scores WILL be separated
by divisions. This will allow all athletes the best
chance for competitive fields and district/state
meet like competition while still providing all
sizes of schools a chance to be awarded. Divisions
will be: Maroon – 3A/4A, White – 1A/2A.
Non-Missouri schools will be assigned to the correct
division by meet management based on enrollment.
Awards:
A total of 408 custom designed medals, 12 trophies
and 4 plaques will be presented. Awards will be
presented to boys and girls as follows:

Individuals Per Event (Awarded Top Three
Individuals Per Division).

Total of Six
Teams Per Relay Event (Awarded Top Three Relay
Teams Per Division).

Total of Six
Teams Overall (Awarded Top Three Teams Per
Division).

“Athlete of the
Meet” in each division.
Team Scoring:
1st
–10 pts, 2nd-8 pts, 3rd-6 pts,
4th-5 pts, 5th-4 pts, 6th-3
pts, 7th-2 pts, 8th-1 pts.
Timing / Results: Professionally operated FinishLynx timing and Hy-Tek meet manager.
Coaches Hospitality:
Each school will receive two (2) lunch tickets per
gender team entered for access to the coaches’
hospitality room in the stadiums luxury suites
overlooking the track/field.
FEES:
Entry fees are $15 per athlete entered with a max
entry fee of $75 per gender. Entry fees will be
based off the total number of athletes entered.
Schools entering late (If Accepted) will be charged
a $25 late fee. Please make advance arrangements so
that your fees are paid no later than meet day.
Schools may pay by cash, check or PO. Receipts will
be included in team packets. Entry fee checks
should be payable to MSU Track and field. Please

Entry Process and Important Dates
The entry process
will take place online. No paper entries are
accepted. To access the online entry system go to
www.BearsTrack.net and follow the link to
“Home Meet Information”. The following are
important dates and steps in the entry process:

DUE – MONDAY, APRIL 14 / 9:00AM:
Coaches should
complete an online team entry form to express their
intent to compete by 9:00am on Monday, April 14th.

> AHLETE AND RELAY
ENTRY FORM DUE – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16 / MIDNIGHT:
All entries will be due by
midnight on Wednesday, April 16th. No updates,
additions, or substitutions will be accepted after
the deadline. Each team may enter up to two
athletes per individual event and one team per relay
event. Meet management welcomes teams that have
more than two highly competitive athletes in an
event to make requests for additional entries.
Athletes may not compete in more than four total
events (including relays).
There NO entry
standards for track events, however, with field
sizes for this meet growing to as many as 50 or more
schools in recent years please help us by limiting
your entries to only those athletes who can
successfully compete at this level of competition.
You may reference previous year’s results to
guide you. For field events the opening heights for
vertical jumps
are:
Boy’s High Jump:
5’4”, Boy’s Pole Vault: 10’6”, Girl’s High Jump:
4’4, Girl’s Pole Vault: 7’6”. Please do not
enter athletes who are unable to clear these
heights.
Online entry
this year will take place through
www.TrackMeetsOnline.com. If this is
your first time using that web site you will need to
register a username and password with them.

Entry lists and a
final competition schedule will be posted at
www.BearsTrack.net no later than Friday, April 18th.
Please plan to check all of your entries as they are
posted.

scratches to GregHipp@MissouriState.edu. Athletes
not scratched prior to the deadline will be included
in your entry fee totals. If on the posted entry
lists you are missing entries from your submitted
form please fax your entry form confirmation to
417-836-8475 (Attn: Track and Field Coach) circling
the entries that need to be corrected. Due to the
size of the meet we will not be able to make meet
day changes.
